We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Senior Advisory for Entity Vetting to join our team at the Department of Defense. As a key member of our Industrial Security Directorate, you will play a critical role in ensuring the effective and timely resolution of complex facility clearance cases.
Key Responsibilities- Provide expert advice to senior management and headquarters staff on Entity Vetting operations and related policies.
- Establish overall EV planning goals and objectives, determine operating guidelines, and make recommendations to related policies and approaches.
- Oversee the implementation of the Facility Clearance Life Cycle, including conducting review, triage, and analysis of sponsored contractors and foreign ownership, control, or influence.
- Intercede and initiate action as appropriate to ensure the proper and effective resolution of complex facility clearance cases.
- Expert knowledge of Industrial Security related laws, directives, and regulations, including 32 CFR Part 117 and Public Law Section 847.
- Demonstrated experience and expertise in one or more of the following national security processes: Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States (CFIUS), Foreign Ownership Control and Influence (FOCI), vendor threat vetting, and supply chain risk management (SCRM).
- Mastery of a variety of analytical and evaluative techniques to understand, respond to, and solve complex security-related requirements and problems.
- Experience in or in-depth knowledge of the Acquisition, Contracting, and/or Intelligence Community, including an understanding of the Adaptive Acquisition Framework, Federal procurement and contracting procedures, and Intelligence Community organization and processes.

This is a Drug Testing designated position. The incumbent must obtain and maintain a Top Secret/SCI Security Clearance. The position may require occasional Temporary Duty Travel (TDY) and/or local travel. The incumbent may be subject to a two-year DCIPS trial period, unless required trial period has been served.
