About the Role:

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to join our team at Sevita. As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in providing support and assistance to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Your primary responsibility will be to help participants with their daily living needs, such as personal hygiene, grooming, and medication management.

As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to develop meaningful relationships with the individuals we serve, helping them to build confidence, independence, and self-esteem. You will work collaboratively with other caregivers and professionals to ensure that each participant receives the highest level of care and support.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist participants with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, grooming, and medication management
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with participants, families, and colleagues
  • Work collaboratively with other caregivers and professionals to ensure high-quality care and support
  • Participate in ongoing training and development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • 6 months of experience in human services, direct care, or care coordination preferred
  • Valid driver's license and access to a registered vehicle with proof of insurance required
  • Patient, compassionate, reliable, and responsible individual with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Compensation and Benefits:
  • Competitive salary: $15.25 per hour
