Mass General Brigham is seeking a skilled Cath Lab Technologist to join our team in Medford, Massachusetts.
This is an ongoing opportunity for a 36-hour per week position with a 12-hour shift.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with the patient care team to ensure continuity of care for patients undergoing cardiac catheterization procedures.
- Act as a critical member of the department, promoting a patient/family-focused care philosophy in all interactions.
- Work collaboratively with other care team members to understand and meet customer needs.
- Provide exceptional patient care and maintain a safe and efficient work environment.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with the latest technologies and procedures.
- Graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited school of Cardiovascular Technology or related field.
- Completion of BLS and ACLS certification within 3 months of employment preferred; within 6 months required.
- Minimum three years of catheterization lab experience preferred.
- Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) preferred. Required within two years of start of employment.
- No documented corrective action over the last year of employment.
- Experience with precepting new employee(s) on at least one occasion preferred.
