We are seeking a mission-driven Sports Medicine physician to join our team at Sea Mar Community Health Centers. As a Sports Medicine physician, you will provide high-quality care to patients with musculoskeletal conditions, concussions, and other sports-related injuries.
Responsibilities- Provide Orthopedic and Sports Medicine services to patients, including diagnosis, treatment, rehabilitation, and prevention of musculoskeletal conditions.
- Conduct sports pre-participation evaluations and provide care for special populations, such as injured workers and patients with chronic disease.
- Participate in organizing and directing sporting event coverage, program evaluation, and preventive health programs, such as immunization and disease detection.
- Collaborate with staff to provide team-based coordinated care and participate in clinical affairs to improve the patient care experience.
- MD or DO degree
- Successful completion of an ACGME or AOA approved post-graduate residency and board certification in the appropriate specialty
- Board certification in RMSK-US required to bill diagnostic scans
- Current DEA certificate
- Bilingual ability in English and Spanish preferred
