Laundry Attendant Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Laundry Attendant to join our team at MasterCorp. As a Laundry Attendant, you will be responsible for operating commercial laundry equipment, sorting, washing, drying, and folding linens and towels. You will also maintain inventory of supplies and report any shortages, inspect and repair equipment as needed, and adhere to safety and sanitation guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate commercial laundry equipment to ensure efficient and effective laundry processing.
  • Sort, wash, dry, and fold linens and towels to meet the highest standards of cleanliness and quality.
  • Maintain inventory of supplies, including laundry detergent, fabric softener, and other necessary items.
  • Report any shortages or issues with equipment or supplies to management.
  • Inspect and repair equipment as needed to ensure optimal performance.
  • Adhere to safety and sanitation guidelines to prevent accidents and maintain a clean and healthy work environment.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth operation of the laundry department.

Requirements:

  • Ability to operate commercial laundry equipment.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness and quality.
  • Ability to lift and move heavy laundry equipment and supplies.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
