Job Description

The Vehicle Preparation Specialist position at Sands Chevrolet Glendale involves meticulously cleaning and preparing vehicles for display and delivery. It requires attention to detail, the ability to work efficiently under pressure, and a strong commitment to customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities
  • Thoroughly wash, buff, and wax the exterior of vehicles to achieve a showroom shine.
  • Clean and condition vehicle interiors, including seats, carpet, and upholstery, to ensure a comfortable and clean environment for drivers and passengers.
  • Use appropriate cleaning products and equipment to ensure the highest quality results and maintain a safe working environment.
  • Perform minor cosmetic repairs, such as removing scratches, to maintain the vehicle's appearance.
  • Inspect vehicles for any damages or defects and report findings to management to ensure quality control.
  • Ensure vehicles are consistently clean and presentable to meet customer expectations.
  • Assist with other tasks as assigned to support the team and achieve departmental goals.
Requirements
  • Prior experience as an automotive detailer or in a similar role is preferred, but not required.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently under pressure.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively to meet deadlines and achieve goals.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills to provide a positive experience for customers.
  • Ability to work well both independently and in a team environment to support the team and achieve departmental goals.
  • Valid driver's license and a clean driving record to ensure safe transportation of vehicles.
  • Ability to meet the physical requirements of the position, including standing, bending, and lifting, to perform tasks safely and efficiently.
