Position Overview:
Sarasota Memorial Health Care System is in search of a skilled and empathetic Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a PRN role within our Employee Health Services Team.
Work Schedule:
Available Monday through Friday, from 7:30 AM to 4 PM.
Flexibility to assist at both Sarasota Memorial Hospital locations is required.
Key Responsibilities:
As a PRN LPN in our Employee Health Services department, your primary duty will be to deliver exceptional nursing care to new hires, current staff, and volunteers, ensuring a secure and healthy workplace.
This position entails administering vaccinations, performing health evaluations, managing employee health documentation, and providing guidance on wellness and disease prevention.
The ideal candidate will possess experience in Urgent Care, Physician Offices, Patient Triage, or Home Health settings.
Essential Qualifications:
Graduation from an accredited practical nursing program or fulfillment of educational requirements as stipulated by the Florida Board of Nursing.
Basic proficiency in commonly utilized computer applications is necessary.
A thirty (30) hour IV certification is required.
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross is mandatory.
Possession of a valid State of Florida LPN License.
