Key Responsibilities- Design and implement robust wireless network solutions that meet the specific needs of the DHS program, ensuring high performance, reliability, and security.
- Monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot wireless network systems to ensure optimal performance and availability.
- Implement and enforce wireless security protocols and best practices to protect sensitive data and ensure compliance with DHS security standards.
- Configure and upgrade wireless network hardware and software to meet evolving requirements and improve network capabilities.
- Provide training and support to DHS staff on wireless network usage, security practices, and troubleshooting techniques.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Network Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in wireless network engineering, with a proven track record of managing complex wireless networks.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNA, CCNP, CWNP) are preferred.
ValidaTek offers a competitive salary range of $79,648.00 to $132,746.67 per year, based on experience and qualifications. We are an Equal Opportunity Employer and welcome applications from qualified candidates.
