Job Title: Fire Sprinkler Inspector

About the Role:

Pye-Barker Fire & Safety is seeking a highly skilled Fire Sprinkler Inspector to join our team. As a Fire Sprinkler Inspector, you will be responsible for performing building sprinkler inspections, testing devices, and generating reports.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough and accurate sprinkler system inspections, including testing devices and recording results.
  • Assist in collecting data and generating necessary paperwork, such as Sprinkler Inspection Reports and Inspection Certificates.
  • Participate in monthly team meetings and perform other duties assigned by management.

Requirements:

  • Backflow Certification Required
  • College Degree preferred, but a High School diploma or equivalent with acceptable experience is acceptable.
  • Must demonstrate excellent written and oral communication skills and be customer service oriented.
  • Must be able and willing to work within a team environment.
  • Proficiency in using test equipment, including sensitivity test equipment, multi-meters, battery analyzers, sound level meters, and communicating devices.
  • Good networking PC skills, including Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and Palm unit operating systems.
  • Reliable transportation to and from the office or job site.
  • Punctuality is critical due to the need to perform sound tests prior to building tenant arrivals.
