Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to perform diagnostic Computed Tomography Services to inpatients, outpatients, and Emergency Department patients under the direction of the supervising radiologist.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform CT scans and reformations according to established clinical protocols, guidelines, and department operating procedures.
  • Obtain pertinent patient history to provide the radiologist with adequate information for exam interpretation and to ensure procedural criteria is met.
  • Document all patient information on appropriate forms for department records related to preservation of patient records, patient statistics, billing information, and supplies.
  • Ensure compliance with established Accrediting Organization, IEMA, and department safety standards.
Requirements:
  • 12 hour shifts, 7 pm- 7 am, every third weekend, holidays, and some call.
  • 3 year general radiology experience.
  • ARRT registry and IEMA license.
  • CPR certification within 3 months of hire.
  • Basic knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and basic CT procedures.
  • Good oral and written communication skills.
  • Computer competence.
