Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough patient safety assessments prior to and during MRI/CT procedures, ensuring a secure environment for patients.
- Perform age-specific patient assessments, preparing the room and patient for the procedure.
- Operate a variety of imaging equipment, evaluating the quality of exams and managing images.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals, providing education and support.
- Contribute to the efficient operation of the department, upholding the organization's philosophy and ensuring high-quality patient care.
- Manage pressure to meet deadlines, maintain accuracy, and adapt to changing situations.
- Interact with diverse individuals, handle stressful situations, and resolve conflicts.
Requirements:
- Bachelor of Science degree preferred, but not mandatory.
- One year of experience in radiologic or imaging.
- Preferably, specific experience and training in MRI/CT.
- Graduation from an accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
- Registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
- ARRT and/or MRI certification preferred.
- Current BCLS certification.
- Knowledge of general anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology.
- Current State of Montana License for Radiologic Technology required.
