Job Title: Electrical Trades Instructor

We are currently seeking an experienced Electrical Trades Instructor to join our team. As an Electrical Trades Instructor, you will be responsible for teaching students the principles and practices of electrical installation, maintenance, and repair.

Responsibilities:

• Teach electrical trades courses to students, including lectures, demonstrations, and hands-on training
• Develop and implement curriculum that meets industry standards and regulations
• Mentor students to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to succeed in their chosen careers
• Assist with program development and implementation

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
• Minimum 5 years of experience in electrical trade work, preferably as a Journeyman Electrician
• Proven teaching or instructional experience, preferably in an electrical trade setting
• Certified NECA (National Electrical Contractors Association) preferred

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working with stationary engineering systems and equipment
• Knowledge of plans, coordinated, and supervised the work of skilled journey-level workers
• Previous experience as a General Foreman

Salary and Benefits:

The salary range for this position is $ 80,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.

Work Environment:

This is a full-time position that requires working indoors in classrooms, offices, research, or training facilities. The successful candidate will be required to walk, stand, stoop, lift, carry, push, or otherwise move objects weighing up to 50 pounds. Use tools for the trades, or equipment requiring a high degree of dexterity.
