This position requires the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and provide excellent patient care throughout Berkshire County.
Key Responsibilities- Assist practitioners in the performance of procedures and other patient care requirements.
- Function clinically under the direction of practitioners and perform other duties as requested by the Practice Site Supervisor.
- Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure timely and smooth office flow, prioritizing patient needs.
- At least three years of experience as a Medical Assistant in a physician's office, with a preference for EKG experience and injection experience.
- Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program, with a strong understanding of medical terminology.
- CPR certification within three months of hire, and CMA or RMA certification within 90 days.
- Excellent clerical and organizational skills, with the ability to work independently and take direction.
- Flexibility to cover for vacations and earned time absences, with a willingness to adapt to a fast-paced and multifaceted position.
- Experience in basic office skills, data entry, and Windows-based PC applications.
- Working knowledge of community services and the ability to speak and write the English language in an understandable manner.
