Bucket Operator

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Bucket Operator to join our team at Utilities Service Co Inc. As a Bucket Operator, you will be responsible for assisting with the clearing and removal of trees along electrical power lines and right-of-ways.
Key Responsibilities- Operate an aerial lift device (bucket truck) to reach branches interfering with electric lines
- Assist with tree pruning and removals, right-of-way clearing and maintenance, and vegetation management with herbicides
- Work near energized parts or equipment and be exposed to hazards of working near power equipment, traffic, high voltage wires, and falling limbs
- Collaborate with customers, police, and fire departments when blocking streets or driveways
- Perform tree and bucket rescue and use hand tools, such as axes, hand-lines, saws, block and tackle, pruners, etc.
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Must be familiar with the electrical hazard
- Possesses working knowledge and can identify tree and shrub species
- Work demands physical energy, twisting, some lifting ability, and hand-to-eye coordination
- Valid commercial Driver's license (CDL) required
Utilities Service Co Inc is a full-service utility contractor that performs tree pruning and removals, right-of-way clearing and maintenance, vegetation management with herbicides, and emergency storm work and logistical support.
