We are seeking a highly skilled Cyber Technologies Program Manager to join our team at Johns Hopkins Applied Physics Laboratory (APL). As a key member of our Cyber Operations and Intelligence Program Area, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategic initiatives and business opportunities that align with our program area strategy.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and Execute Strategic Initiatives: You will be responsible for developing new strategic initiatives and business opportunities to support the Cyber Operations and Intelligence Program Area, including the development of strategies, technical concepts, and high-impact capabilities for the National Security Agency, intelligence community, and military partners.
- Build and Pursue New Business Initiatives: You will build and pursue new business initiatives aligned with the program area strategy through regular interactions with existing sponsors and opportunities with new sponsors across the cyber operations and intelligence communities.
- Drive Sponsor Engagements: You will drive sponsor engagements through strategic planning of projects, ideas, and concepts that will address critical, known challenges in the sponsors' domain.
- Manage and Execute Successful Contracts: You will work with the enterprise to manage and execute successful contracts that meet the needs of our sponsors.
- Provide Leadership and Mentorship: You will provide leadership in the program area by mentoring project managers, participating in and driving strategic initiatives, and contributing to the overall Cyber Operations and Intelligence strategy for APL.
- Education: You must possess a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
- Experience: You must have 10+ years of experience working with cybersecurity or cyber operations and 15 or more years of experience managing programs or projects.
- Certifications: You must be PMP or DAWIA certified, or able to obtain a required certification as approved by the sponsor within 12 months of employment.
- Skills: You must be skilled in data science, machine learning, cyber network analysis, cyber operations, and/or systems engineering.
- Clearance: You must hold an active TS/SCI+Poly clearance and be eligible for access to classified information.
