Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Echocardiography Technologist Cardiovascular Sonographer to join our team at Intermountain Health. As an integral member of our clinical staff, you will play a vital role in supporting our healthcare providers and ensuring that our patients receive the highest quality care.

About the Role:

This position involves performing various types of cardiac ultrasound examinations, including Echocardiograms, Stress Echos, TEEs, and structural heart procedures under the supervision of a physician. Your primary responsibility will be to identify abnormalities in patients' hearts and provide critical information for diagnosis.

You will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless communication and coordination of patient care. Additionally, you will be responsible for preparing exam rooms, obtaining informed consent, and explaining the examination process to patients. Your attention to detail and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment will be essential in this role.

Requirements:

To be successful in this position, you must possess a High School Diploma or equivalent. You should also hold RDCS - Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer or RCS - Reg Cardiac Sonographer certification. New graduates must obtain registry within 18 months of hire. Prior experience as an Ultrasound Technologist is preferred but not required.
