Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the financial budgeting and forecasting process to ensure accurate financial projections and informed decision-making.
  • Develop and administer company revenue cycle management, including invoicing and payment processes to optimize cash flow and minimize delays.
  • Prepare financial performance and P&L updates for senior management and the Board of Directors to facilitate strategic decision-making.
  • Analyze and track all important financial performance metrics, including profitability, margins, cash flow, and operating expenses, to identify areas for improvement.
  • Perform financial scenario analysis to support senior management's strategic decision-making and drive revenue and EBITDA growth.
  • Assist in preparing proforma analyses and business cases for investments to drive revenue and EBITDA growth.

Requirements:

  • Education - Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related business major is required. An MBA is preferred but not required.
  • Experience – Minimum of 4-7 years of financial and analytical experience, preferably in pharmaceutical clinical trials, biotech, healthcare research, or healthtech environment.
  • Intellectual curiosity to solve business problems and understand root causes of business performance.
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills and an ability to work collaboratively or independently in a fast-paced, start-up environment.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, interpersonal skills, problem-solving skills.
  • Strong hands-on skills in pulling data, building financial models, and evaluating financial results is a requirement.
  • Preferable system experience includes MS Excel, Google Sheets, NetSuite.
