Position Overview

AEG is seeking a part-time/variable hour Store Operations Associate. This role is vital in supporting merchandise sales and ensuring a positive shopping experience for our customers. The Store Operations Associate will be responsible for various tasks within the retail environment, particularly during events and match days.


Key Responsibilities

To excel in this role, the individual must effectively carry out the following duties:
  • Perform opening and closing procedures in the retail space, adhering to all operational checklists.
  • Maintain a physical presence in the store during scheduled shifts.
  • Engage with customers, providing assistance and information regarding merchandise.
  • Organize and maintain merchandise displays, ensuring a clean and orderly shopping environment.
  • Handle customer transactions, including cash and card payments, following established checkout protocols.
  • Occasionally assist at temporary retail locations, acting as a representative of our brand and engaging with fans.
  • Provide feedback and suggestions for store improvements based on customer interactions.
  • Be available to work on weekends, holidays, and weekdays as needed.
Qualifications
  • Preferred: 1 year of experience in customer service.
  • Must be able to pass a comprehensive background check.
  • Completion of SafeSport training and certification is required.
  • Reliable transportation is necessary.
  • Ability to build respectful relationships and communicate effectively with team members and customers.
  • Demonstrated exceptional customer service skills, ensuring every interaction is positive and respectful.
Compensation and Benefits
  • This is a non-exempt position with a pay range of $20 - $22 per hour.
  • Eligible for Washington Paid Sick Leave at a rate of 1 hour for every 40 hours worked.
