Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Transmission Line Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our infrastructure development team, you will be responsible for the planning, design, and completion of distribution and high voltage electrical transmission lines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform civil/structural engineering analyses for transmission line design up to 500kV
  • Create construction contracts, technical specifications, and drawing packages
  • Provide technical direction, training, and support to project teams
  • Stay informed about industry regulations and best practices
  • Collaborate with field crews, project management, and business development teams

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
  • Professional Engineer license in Colorado or California
  • 8+ years of experience in Civil/Structural engineering
  • Proficiency in PLS-CADD, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Advanced engineering degree
  • Interest in Project Management or Construction methods
  • Membership in industry organizations

Compensation:

A competitive salary range of $130,000 - $195,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
