Position Overview:

We are in search of a dynamic and results-driven project professional to manage implementation initiatives within our expanding software and services organization. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in software deployment, encompassing requirements analysis, environment configuration, installation, customization, training, and ongoing support.

The Software Implementation Specialist (SIS) will play a pivotal role within the Litigation team, ensuring the delivery of contracted products and services, including reports, business rules, and software configurations. As a primary representative of Journal Technologies, the SIS will engage with clients and oversee various activities throughout the configuration process. This role demands expertise in our product offerings, internal implementation methodologies, and the client's operational workflows.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Configure case management software utilizing the built-in administrative interface, including forms, searches, and workflows.
  • Develop business rules within the software using Groovy and Velocity.
  • Collect specifications and oversee data conversion processes.
  • Facilitate document and report specification gathering, development, and review.
  • Conduct on-site administrative and user training, along with go-live support.
  • Demonstrate fluency in Java.
  • Possess knowledge of Windows Server environments and networking.
  • Understand interfacing with REST and SOAP APIs.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience, with a solid understanding of project management principles.
  • Minimum of 5 years of full-time experience in querying relational databases, preferably TSQL or PL/SQL.
  • Demonstrated experience as an Implementation Specialist in a comparable environment.
  • Ability to maintain focus and manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft SQL or Oracle databases, and reporting tools such as Jasper or Crystal Reports, Microsoft SQL Reporting Services, Java, Groovy, and Velocity.
  • Exhibit learning agility and critical thinking capabilities.
  • Strong client relationship management skills.
