About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Electromagnetic Spectrum Engineer to join our team at KBR. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for supporting the development and execution of systems engineering plans from requirements identification through design verification.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute engineering strategies in accordance with approved project acquisition strategies and plans.
  • Perform technical analysis and systems engineering support to facilitate architecture design, interoperability, specification analysis and development, solutions implementation, and systems sustainment.
  • Develop test and evaluation documentation, including laboratory testing plans, new technology evaluation documents, usability engineering documents, and laboratory testing of SW/MW test articles.
  • Support signal processing activities, including waveform, clutter management, and electronic protection development.
  • Navigate multiple spectrum and frequency allocation databases to find information on systems of interest and apply this information to various platforms.
Requirements
  • US DoD Secret Security Clearance.
  • BS in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or other related STEM degree from an accredited US institution.
  • 3+ years of experience in RF system capabilities analysis, systems integration, spectrum policy, general RF and electronic technology experience, EMI, EMC, RF Engineering, or Spectrum Management.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Technical Skills: Equipment Spectrum Certification and related National Spectrum Policies.
  • Experience in developing spectrum certification following the NTIA Manual of Regulations.
  • Knowledge of systems utilizing the MHz frequency band.
