Role Overview:

The ideal candidate will possess extensive expertise in Informatica MDM and Informatica Cloud MDM (SaaS). As a Master Data Management (MDM) Informatica Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in the design, implementation, and upkeep of MDM solutions utilizing Informatica MDM software. This position primarily focuses on the migration of the on-premises version of Informatica MDM to the cloud environment, making it a dedicated migration initiative.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and execute Master Data Management (MDM) solutions leveraging Informatica MDM software, with a strong emphasis on cloud migration.
  • Engage with business stakeholders to collect and comprehend master data requirements for cloud integration.
  • Establish data models, data dictionaries, and governance protocols for master data entities.
  • Configure and tailor the Informatica MDM Hub (Cloud) to align with specific business objectives.
  • Integrate MDM solutions with various enterprise systems and databases.
  • Develop and uphold data quality standards and validation processes.
  • Create and manage data mapping, transformation, and cleansing protocols.
  • Ensure the accuracy, consistency, and integrity of data across the organization.
  • Implement data security measures and access controls for master data.
  • Monitor and address data integration and quality challenges.
  • Conduct data profiling and quality evaluations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to diagnose and resolve MDM-related issues.
  • Provide mentorship and technical support to junior MDM developers.
  • Stay informed about the latest trends and best practices in MDM and data management.

Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated experience as an MDM Informatica Specialist, with a minimum of 6-8 years of practical experience in migrating Informatica MDM to the cloud.
  • Strong command of Informatica MDM Hub, including configuration and customization capabilities.
  • Familiarity with data governance and stewardship principles.
  • Proficient in SQL and database management systems (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server).
  • Informatica MDM certification is advantageous.
  • Experience in the insurance sector is a plus.
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (or equivalent experience).
  • Experience in a highly matrixed organizational structure.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
