We are seeking a highly organized and compassionate Veterinary Receptionist to join our team at Southern Veterinary Partners. As a key member of our hospital staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, managing front desk operations, and ensuring a smooth patient flow.
Key Responsibilities- Receive and place calls to clients for scheduling purposes
- Prioritize multiple tasks in a calm and organized manner
- Maintain accurate client and pet records
- Assist clients with information, invoices, and prescription items
- Utilize hospital computer systems for documentation and communication
- Manage financial transactions and maintain accurate balances
- Provide excellent customer service and communication skills
- Advocate for pets through client education and support
- Maintain a positive attitude and demonstrate empathy towards clients and pets
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of veterinary medical terminology and procedures
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays
- Experience with veterinary software is preferred
