Veterinary Hospital Receptionist

We are seeking a highly organized and compassionate Veterinary Receptionist to join our team at Southern Veterinary Partners. As a key member of our hospital staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, managing front desk operations, and ensuring a smooth patient flow.

• Receive and place calls to clients for scheduling purposes
• Prioritize multiple tasks in a calm and organized manner
• Maintain accurate client and pet records
• Assist clients with information, invoices, and prescription items
• Utilize hospital computer systems for documentation and communication
• Manage financial transactions and maintain accurate balances
• Provide excellent customer service and communication skills
• Advocate for pets through client education and support
• Maintain a positive attitude and demonstrate empathy towards clients and pets

• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Knowledge of veterinary medical terminology and procedures
• Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays
• Experience with veterinary software is preferred
