We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our Cardiovascular ICU team at NYU Langone Hospital - Brooklyn. As a Registered Nurse in this role, you will provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.
Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care and develop individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to coordinate patient care and ensure seamless transitions between departments.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians and maintain accurate records of patient care.
- Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes or concerns to the healthcare team.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with the latest medical advancements and best practices.
- Must be a graduate of an accredited nursing program and hold a current Registered Nurse license in the state of New York.
- Must have a minimum of 2 years of ICU experience, with a preference for experience in a Cardiovascular ICU setting.
- Must be certified in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS).
