Mass General Brigham is seeking a skilled Operating Room Charge Nurse to join our team in Everett, Massachusetts.
Job Summary:
We are looking for a dedicated and experienced nurse to lead our Operating Room team. As an Operating Room Charge Nurse, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the OR, providing exceptional patient care, and collaborating with our multidisciplinary team to achieve excellent patient outcomes.
Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership and guidance to the OR team, ensuring that all patients receive high-quality care.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve patient safety and satisfaction.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless communication and coordination of care.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes.
- Recruit, train, and evaluate OR staff to ensure that they have the necessary skills and knowledge to provide excellent patient care.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Nursing.
- At least three years of experience in nursing, with directly related clinical experience and demonstrated leadership ability.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
