Job Summary

The Director of Pulmonary and Cath Lab Procedures will lead and direct all procedural operations for assigned centers in collaboration with the Center Medical Director (CMD) and faculty. This role is responsible for implementing strategic institutional plans, addressing complex operational issues with senior leadership, and overseeing patient care operations, including patient flow, scheduling, and satisfaction, ensuring compliance with institutional, state, and federal standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and direct all procedural operations for assigned centers in collaboration with the Center Medical Director (CMD) and faculty.
  • Implement strategic institutional plans and address complex operational issues with senior leadership.
  • Oversee patient care operations, including patient flow, scheduling, and satisfaction, ensuring compliance with institutional, state, and federal standards.
  • Ensure continuous quality improvements in clinical operations.
Financial Management
  • Drive operational changes to meet financial goals.
  • Manage financial planning, budgeting, expense mitigation, and patient financial services in partnership with finance leadership.
  • Support and improve charge capture processes and ensure compliance with business practices.
Integration and Growth
  • Collaborate with leaders to prepare new facilities for patient care.
  • Anticipate and address operational barriers to ensure smooth service delivery.
Project and Facilities Management
  • Optimize physical resource utilization, including space, asset management, and inventory control.
  • Lead and complete special projects within designated timelines, maintaining clear communication with all stakeholders.
Human Resources
  • Direct HR activities, including recruitment, staffing, training, and development in coordination with clinical leadership.
  • Ensure compliance with professional standards and collaborate with nursing and procedural leadership to deliver safe, effective patient care.

Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare or Finance. Experience: Seven years business experience in healthcare, finance or related field, to include planning, directing and implementing business strategy and business operations to include five years of supervisory or management experience. Successful completion of the LEADing Self Accelerate and/or LEADing Self Discover programs may substitute for one year of required supervisory or management experience. Completion of both programs can be substituted for a maximum of two years of supervisory or management experience. Registration by the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC) in Pulmonary Function. Must pass pre-employment skills test as required and administered by Human Resources.
