Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Dining Room Attendant to join our team at the Stonebreaker Restaurant. As a key member of our front-of-house team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests, ensuring their dining experience is memorable and enjoyable.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet and direct guests in a warm and welcoming manner, ensuring they feel comfortable and at ease.
  • Assist service staff with the initial setup of guest seating, including providing drinking water and/or coffee, and ensuring proper place settings are available.
  • Coordinate with service staff to bring food from the kitchen to the guest table, ensuring timely and efficient service.
  • Act as a liaison between the front and back of house, working to bring items to guest tables, such as additional condiments.
  • Clear guest tables of used table setting items, ensuring a clean and tidy dining area.
  • Complete designated side work efficiently and thoroughly, maintaining a clean and organized working environment.

Requirements:

  • 17+ years of age
  • No prior experience in restaurants is required; we will train the right candidates with a positive work ethic.
  • Ability to work in a constructive, team-working environment with a positive, upbeat, and customer-focused attitude.
  • Flexibility to work nights or mornings, weekends, holidays, and busy seasonal days.
