About the Role

We're seeking a talented software engineer to join our team and help set the foundations of the company. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining different systems from the ground up, including the Lumino protocol, AI training, cryptoeconomics mechanisms, and customer-facing tools.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, build, and maintain the Lumino protocol for training and fine-tuning AI models
  • Develop the Lumino node
  • Design and implement customer-facing tools such as our CLI and web UI
  • Research and develop frameworks to train AI models
  • Build, test, debug, and deploy large-scale decentralized systems across thousands of nodes
  • Own projects end-to-end, from requirements, scoping, design, to implementation, in a highly collaborative and cross-functional environment
Requirements
  • You have 3+ years of software engineering experience
  • You have designed, built, and scaled production systems
  • You have strong communication and collaboration abilities
  • You have excellent problem-solving skills and ability to learn quickly
  • You write high-quality and well-tested code
  • You have experience working with a cloud-native tech stack (e.g AWS/GCP)
Nice to Have
  • Previous experience in a startup environment
  • Contributions to open-source projects
  • Experience in designing distributed systems with low latency and high availability
  • Knowledge of blockchain systems
