Meddys is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Senior Financial Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you will play a vital role in maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial reports, and providing insights to support business decisions.

About the Role

We are offering a competitive salary of $85,000 - $95,000 per year, commensurate with experience. This position requires a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, as well as 2+ years of professional accounting experience, preferably in the restaurant, hospitality, or retail industry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain and manage accurate financial records, including general ledger entries, reconciliations, and financial statements.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for internal stakeholders and regulatory compliance.
  • Analyze financial data and provide insights to support business decisions.

In addition to these responsibilities, the successful candidate will also be responsible for overseeing accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) processes, ensuring timely and accurate payments and collections, as well as coordinating and preparing for external audits, providing necessary documentation and reports.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of professional accounting experience, preferably in the restaurant, hospitality, or retail industry.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and tax regulations.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Restaurant 365) and Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
