Job Summary

We are seeking a Per Diem Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team at Providence Saint Joseph Medical Center - Burbank. As a Per Diem Nuclear Medicine Technologist, you will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks related to nuclear medicine, including imaging procedures, patient care, and equipment maintenance.

Responsibilities
  • Perform imaging procedures using nuclear medicine equipment, including PET/CT scans and other specialized procedures.
  • Provide patient care and education, including explaining procedures and results to patients and families.
  • Maintain equipment and supplies, including ordering and stocking inventory as needed.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient care.
  • Float to less or like specialties where needed and qualified.
Requirements
  • 1 year recent experience in nuclear medicine or a related field.
  • AHA BLS certification.
  • ARRT(with nuc med specialty) or NMTCB certification.
  • Epic experience required.
Preferred Qualifications
  • PET/CT experience.
Work Schedule

8 & 10 hour shifts. No orientations for this position.

Unit Specific Information

Outpatient, inpatient, OR room, ER.

Additional Details

Candidate is responsible for completing up to 10 hours of Providence and specialty specific modules, independently before candidate will be cleared to work.
