Pharmacy Technician

As a Pharmacy Technician at Walgreens, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and service to our customers. You will assist pharmacists in the practice of pharmacy, including filling prescriptions, verifying medication, and providing information to patients. • Assist pharmacists in the preparation and dispensing of medications
• Verify patient information and medication orders
• Provide excellent customer service and respond to patient inquiries
• Operate pharmacy systems and equipment, including cash registers and automated dispensing systems
• Maintain accurate records and reports, including patient information and inventory levels
• Collaborate with pharmacy staff to ensure smooth operations and efficient workflow

• High school diploma or equivalent required; PTCB certification preferred
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask
• Basic math skills and accuracy with handling cash and operating a cash register
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods
