Job Overview

We are currently seeking a skilled Radiology Technologist Specialist to join our team at Travel Nurse Across America. This is a unique opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment and contribute to the delivery of high-quality patient care.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures, including radiography and fluoroscopy. They will also be required to maintain accurate patient records and prepare results for physician review.

Key Responsibilities
  • Confirm Patient Identification: Verify patient information and review imaging requests to ensure accurate and timely diagnosis.
  • Explain Procedures to Patients: Clearly communicate imaging procedures to patients, providing reassurance and support as needed.
  • Position Patients and Adjust Equipment: Position patients correctly and adjust imaging equipment to obtain high-quality images.
  • Prioritize Radiation Safety: Take appropriate precautions to prevent radiation exposure during imaging procedures.
  • Calibrate Equipment: Regularly calibrate imaging equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Prepare Results: Prepare imaging results for physician review, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Maintain Accurate Records: Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
Requirements
  • 1 Year of Experience: A minimum of 1 year of experience as a radiology technologist is required.
  • ARRT National Certification: Current ARRT (R) national certification is mandatory.
  • BLS Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
  • State-Specific Licensing: State-specific licensing may be required.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, with occasional lifting and bending.
Compensation and Benefits

The estimated salary range for this position is $65,000 - $80,000 per annum, depending on experience and location. Additional benefits include comprehensive health insurance, paid time off, and opportunities for professional development.
