CT Technologist for Travel Assignments

Position Overview

The Travel CT Technologist role at Piedmont Henry Hospital involves providing high-quality imaging services across various patient demographics, from neonates to geriatrics. This position requires a commitment to patient care and adherence to established protocols.

Certification Requirements
  • BLS - Basic Life Support
  • ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support
  • PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support
  • State License Verification
  • NIH Stroke Certification
  • National Tech Certification Verification
  • Electronic Fetal Monitoring Certification
Job Responsibilities
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience is preferred; first-time travelers are welcome.
  • Work in both inpatient and outpatient settings, performing CT scans in accordance with Piedmont protocols.
  • Initiate IVs, obtain patient consent, and ensure exceptional patient care.
  • Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team including technologists, nurses, and physicians.
  • Manage a caseload of 12-24 patients daily across 4 CT rooms.
  • Utilize Siemens and Philips CT scanners, along with Epic Medical Records and Fuji PACs.
Work Schedule
  • Workdays: Friday through Monday.
  • Weekends: Required every weekend (Saturday, Sunday, Monday).
  • Floating: May be required within the facility as needed.
  • On-call: 8 days total, with at least 2 weeks notice provided.
  • Holiday Work: Expected to work during major holidays as outlined in the guidelines.
Additional Information
  • Compliance: Full compliance with certification and documentation is required to ensure timely start.
  • Uniform: Gray scrubs are mandated.
  • Request Time Off: Maximum of 7 days.
