ESR does not believe in relying on traditional gratuities to compensate employees. Instead, we pay our hourly employees an equitable and agreed-upon hourly rate. Any gratuities that are left are split amongst hourly employees. To ensure our best-in-class customer experience and remain competitive, we add a 22% service charge to all checks, which is retained by the house.
