  • As a Cake Decorator at Weis Markets, you will be responsible for ensuring the bakery department is well-stocked and appealing to meet customer demand. You will also be expected to smile and greet customers, making suggestions and answering questions about various products and preparation of cakes.
  • You will assist in creating the finished decorated product in a timely fashion, determine what the customer is looking for in terms of size, flavor and appearance, and decorate cakes and other bakery products using dye, specific designs or by creating custom designs.
  • Responsibilities include trimming and cutting cakes to required shape and size, spreading icing between layers and on cake surface, tinting white icing to required colors, and adhering to company approved recipes.
  • You may also be called upon to assist with receiving, unloading, checking-in, breaking-down, and storing deliveries through operation of power jack or hand jack if properly trained. Training provided.
