Position Overview
Providence is inviting applications for several New Graduate RN Residency positions within the Emergency Services Unit.
The RN Residency program at Providence St. Joseph Health is designed to equip newly graduated nurses with the essential skills and knowledge required to excel in their specialty. This program combines a structured curriculum, simulation training, and real patient interactions, all under the guidance of seasoned preceptors. If you are a recent RN graduate with less than one year of experience, this residency program is tailored for you.
Work Schedule
This is a full-time position with day shift availability.

Qualifications Required:
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
- Possession of a California Registered Nurse License upon hire.
- National Provider BLS certification from the American Heart Association upon hire.
- National Provider NRP certification from the American Academy of Pediatrics within six months of hire.
- Recent graduates with 12 months of experience or less are encouraged to apply.
