Job Title: Industrial Equipment Specialist
Job Summary:
Admiral Beverage is seeking a highly skilled Industrial Equipment Specialist to join our team. As an Industrial Equipment Specialist, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing production equipment and facilities to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Visually inspect and test machinery and equipment to detect malfunctions and discuss operation variations with supervisors or other maintenance workers to diagnose problems or repair machines.
- Conduct basic electrical checks on electrical components, including continuity, fuses, and switches.
- Dismantle defective machines and equipment and install new or repaired parts.
- Clean and lubricate shafts, bearings, gears, and other parts of machinery.
- Install and repair electrical apparatus, such as motors, transformers, and wiring, and electrical and electronic components of machinery and equipment.
- Lay out, assemble, install, and maintain pipe systems and related hydraulic and pneumatic equipment, and repair and replace gauges, valves, pressure regulators, and related equipment.
- Repair and maintain the physical structure of the establishment.
- Set up and operate machine tools, such as grinders and drills, to repair or fabricate machine parts, jigs, and fixtures, and tools.
- Operate cutting torches or welding equipment to cut or join metal parts.
- Fabricate and repair counters, benches, partitions, and other wooden structures.
- Perform duties of Production Operator as required.
- Wear and utilize appropriate safety equipment.
- Wear Company-provided uniforms and required sanitation and safety devices as appropriate to comply with safety and sanitation standards for beverage production operations.
Requirements:
- One year certificate from college or technical school; or two to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Forklift Certified by company. Obtain and maintain OSHA forklift safety certification.
- Ability to read and interpret documents, such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
- Ability to speak effectively before groups of employees of the organization.
- Ability to perform basic functions of math in all units of measure and formats.
- Ability to interpret rate, ratio, percent, and graphs.
Work Environment:
The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts and fumes or airborne particles. The employee is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions and frequently exposed to toxic or caustic chemicals and vibration. The employee is occasionally exposed to high, precarious places; outside weather conditions; risk of electrical shock; and explosives. The noise level in the work environment is usually very loud.
