Job Summary:

As a Radiology Interventional Technologist at Integrated Resources, you will work under the direction of a Radiologist to perform procedures of an invasive nature to aid in the evaluation of pathological entities. Your expertise will be crucial in explaining examination procedures to patients, preparing them for the examination, and obtaining additional information about their medical history as necessary.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare prescribed contrast media, medications, and IV solutions for administration to patients.
  • Review clinical data on requisitions, analyze anatomical structures of patients, and set up equipment according to protocols.
  • Assist Radiologists in performing complex diagnostic invasive procedures, ensuring the adequate supply of needles, catheters, and other necessary equipment.
  • Manually control equipment to obtain proper diagnostic information for the area of the body being studied.
  • Perform Quality Assurance procedures as appropriate and document all necessary information in the medical record and radiology information system.


Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Maintain required hours of continued medical education.
  • Must be registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) with the advanced registry in one of the following: Cardiac Interventional Radiography (CI), Vascular Interventional Radiography (VI), or Cardiovascular Interventional Radiography (CV).
