Overview

HealthDrive is a renowned healthcare provider seeking a skilled and compassionate Audiologist to join our team.

Salary: $40,000+ per year (based on a 2-day workweek) in Asheville, North Carolina, and surrounding areas.

Job Description:

The Audiologist will provide essential audiological services to residents of nursing homes, assisted living facilities, and long-term care facilities within an assigned territory. This role involves conducting comprehensive diagnostic examinations, performing hearing aid evaluations and repairs, and dispensing and adjusting amplification devices.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct pre-planned diagnostic audiological examinations at our facilities by interacting with both staff and patients
  • Perform hearing aid evaluations and repairs
  • Dispense and adjust analog and digital hearing aids as well as other amplification devices
  • Enter patient information and complete required clinical documentation in our cutting-edge EMR system
  • Travel daily to skilled nursing facilities for mobile model treatment of patients
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Masters or Doctorate Degree in Audiology
  • Required C.C.C. –A classification from ASHA
  • Current State professional license
  • Valid driver's license
