Salary: $40,000+ per year (based on a 2-day workweek) in Asheville, North Carolina, and surrounding areas.
Job Description:
The Audiologist will provide essential audiological services to residents of nursing homes, assisted living facilities, and long-term care facilities within an assigned territory. This role involves conducting comprehensive diagnostic examinations, performing hearing aid evaluations and repairs, and dispensing and adjusting amplification devices.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct pre-planned diagnostic audiological examinations at our facilities by interacting with both staff and patients
- Perform hearing aid evaluations and repairs
- Dispense and adjust analog and digital hearing aids as well as other amplification devices
- Enter patient information and complete required clinical documentation in our cutting-edge EMR system
- Travel daily to skilled nursing facilities for mobile model treatment of patients
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Masters or Doctorate Degree in Audiology
- Required C.C.C. –A classification from ASHA
- Current State professional license
- Valid driver's license
