Job Title: Travel Respiratory Therapist

We are seeking a skilled Travel Respiratory Therapist to join our team at IDR Healthcare. As a travel respiratory therapist, you will have the opportunity to work with a variety of patients and develop your skills in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Job Summary:

The Travel Respiratory Therapist will provide respiratory care to patients in a hospital setting, working closely with the healthcare team to develop and implement treatment plans. This is a 13-week assignment with 36 hours per week, 12-hour shifts, nights.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide respiratory care to patients, including oxygen therapy, ventilation, and aerosol therapy
  • Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with the healthcare team
  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine patient needs
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and maintain accurate records
Requirements:
  • Current licensure as a Respiratory Therapist in the state of Indiana
  • Experience working in a hospital setting
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
