Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Certified Cardiac Technician to join our team in Deerfield, Illinois. As a Cardiac Technician - Innovator, you will play a critical role in reviewing patient ECG data, communicating ECG abnormalities, and maintaining compliance with job-specific proficiency requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review patient ECG data and related algorithm findings for clinical accuracy and completeness
  • Effectively communicate ECG abnormalities as required according to physician notification protocol
  • Perform quality assurance before delivering final reports to physicians
  • Maintain compliance with job-specific proficiency requirements, including CCT certification
  • Continuously develop clinical knowledge, particularly ECG rhythm interpretation skills
  • Meet or exceed productivity and quality metrics as defined for the role
  • Adhere to HIPAA guidelines and best clinical practices
Requirements
  • High School Diploma required; Associate's degree or two years of college coursework preferred
  • 2+ years of experience as a cardiac telemetry/monitor technician, Holter scanner, or other position requiring ECG interpretation
  • Advanced computer agility skills and knowledge of Microsoft tools
  • Successful completion of new hire training requirements
  • Knowledge of medical terminology specific to Cardiology
  • Demonstrated capability in rhythm analysis and interpretation
  • Certified Cardiographic Technician (CCT) or able to be certified within 120 days of hire
