About the Role
We are seeking a skilled CT Technologist to join our team at West Chester Hospital. As a CT Technologist, you will play a critical role in assisting in the diagnosis and treatment of patients through producing high-quality diagnostic radiographs of the human body.
Responsibilities
* Communicate effectively with patients and staff to identify and respond to varying needs.
* Perform diagnostic procedures by reviewing patient history, communicating with patients, and following established protocols and safety measures.
* Ensure patient and staff safety by providing protection equipment, regulating time and intensity of exposure, and utilizing equipment correctly.
* Review images for diagnostic acceptability and maintain accurate record-keeping and quality control.
* Prepare and administer contrast media under physician direction, practice sterile techniques to prevent the spread of disease, and assist in administering emergency procedures as needed.
* Participate in continuing education activities related to the field of Radiologic Technology and its subspecialties.
Qualifications
* Associate's Degree required.
* 1-3 years of experience preferred.
* Registration by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) and current state license.
