We are seeking a highly skilled Dental Hygienist to join our team at Community Health Programs Inc. As a key member of our dental center, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the overall success of our organization.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct thorough medical and dental histories with patients, consulting with physicians as necessary.
- Perform intra-oral and extra-oral exams, taking radiographs when required.
- Provide prophylaxis cleaning and polishing of teeth, as well as root scaling and planing for periodontal disease.
- Offer patient education on oral health and disease prevention.
- Collaborate with dentists to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Document patient activity and maintain accurate records.
- Perform administrative tasks, including scheduling appointments and answering phones.
- Associate's degree in Dental Hygiene from an accredited institution.
- Valid Massachusetts license to practice as a Dental Hygienist.
- Current CPR certification.
- Proficiency in Dentrix software and other relevant dental systems.
