Job Summary

OrthoCarolina is seeking a highly skilled Post Surgical Service Technician to join our team. As a key member of our musculoskeletal care team, you will be responsible for delivering equipment ordered by physicians and training patients in its use.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver equipment to patients and provide thorough instructions on its use.
  • Communicate with patients to collect co-insurance payments and ensure their satisfaction with the products.
  • Work closely with the Post-Surgical Sales Manager to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Perform additional tasks as needed, including:
    • Providing instructions on how to use equipment to patients and their families.
    • Picking up equipment in a timely manner.
    • Traveling to patients' homes, hospitals, nursing homes, and PT/OT clinics.
    • Calling patients prior to surgery to describe products ordered for them and explain financial responsibilities.
    • Collecting co-insurance payments from patients.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to travel to patients' homes, hospitals, nursing homes, and PT/OT clinics.
