Mixology Expert

We are seeking a skilled Beverage Service Specialist to join our team at the David L Lawrence Convention Center. As a key member of our hospitality team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

• Prepare and serve beverages to guests in a friendly, courteous, and timely manner.
• Adhere to state, federal, and corporate liquor regulations pertaining to serving alcoholic beverages to minors and intoxicated guests.
• Set up assigned bars, requisition and stock all necessary supplies, and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
• Greets guests in a courteous and friendly manner, takes and processes orders for drinks, and presents drinks using standard ingredient recipes.
• Checks guests for proper identification, detects and acts upon guest inebriation as trained, and demonstrates knowledge of liquor laws.
• Receives cash from guests, makes change, verifies validity of charges, records charges, and ensures vouchers are properly executed.
• Locks up and stores all beverage product, food, equipment items, deposits, and cash drops, and secures bank.
• Performs general cleaning tasks to adhere to health and safety standards, keeps work area clean and organized, and arranges bottles and glasses to maintain an attractive display in the bar area.
• Washes and sterilizes stemware and performs other duties as assigned.
