Job Title: Pediatric Dentist

We are seeking a skilled Pediatric Dentist to join our team at Adelphi Medical Staffing. As a Pediatric Dentist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care to infants, children, and adolescents.

Job Summary:

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in pediatric dentistry, with experience in conducting comprehensive dental examinations, developing treatment plans, and performing restorative and preventive dental procedures. You will also be responsible for educating children and parents about proper oral hygiene practices and creating a welcoming and child-friendly environment to reduce anxiety.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide dental care specifically for infants, children, and adolescents
  • Conduct comprehensive dental examinations and develop treatment plans
  • Perform restorative and preventive dental procedures tailored to children
  • Educate children and parents about proper oral hygiene practices
  • Create a welcoming and child-friendly environment to reduce anxiety
  • Monitor the development of children's teeth and jaws
  • Collaborate with other healthcare providers as needed for comprehensive care
  • Stay current on pediatric dental practices and continuing education
Requirements:
  • Must have a pediatric dentistry specialty certification and valid state licensure
  • Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD)
  • Proficiency with electronic health record systems, specifically EPIC/OCHIN
  • Familiarity with community health practices and integrated care models is preferred
