Salary Information

The estimated annual salary for this position is $62,400-$76,500, depending on experience and qualifications.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced MRI Technologist to perform routine and emergent MRI scanning procedures while adhering to high magnetic field safety practices.

This role requires strong communication skills, with the ability to educate patients and ensure they understand the procedure. The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of experience in Magnetic Resonance Imaging and possess ARRT certification as well as MRI Registry (MR) through ARRT within twelve months of hire date.

The successful candidate will work collaboratively with nursing units, physician offices, and radiologists to coordinate patient scheduling and care plans.

  • Provides all aspects of Magnetic Resonance Imaging care based on established standards.
  • Demonstrates competency in all procedures within the scope of practice, including obtaining information and interpreting data related to patient needs.
  • Ensures proper prescreening of patients for MRI procedures and administers contrast agents when necessary.
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must possess:

  • An Associate's Degree or equivalent required; Military training accepted.
  • 1-2 years of experience in Magnetic Resonance Imaging preferred.
  • ARRT certification required, with MRI Registry (MR) through ARRT obtained within twelve months of hire date.
