Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior .NET Developer with expertise in Azure DevOps to support our technology initiatives focused on application modernization. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality projects that meet business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and sustain .NET applications and APIs based on project requirements and architectural guidelines.
  • Implement and oversee continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) processes and practices.
  • Assist in creating automation scripts for cloud resource provisioning and the rollout of new tools and features.
  • Monitor systems and provide technical support as needed.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to identify and resolve infrastructure challenges.
  • Manage hosted environments, respond to system outages and defects, and continuously enhance system performance.
  • Engage in hands-on development, mentoring, and conducting code reviews.

Qualifications

  • Over 10 years of hands-on experience in .NET development.
  • Proficient in .NET Core, Azure services, Azure Functions, Azure SQL, and document databases such as MongoDB or Cosmos DB.
  • At least 2 years of experience with Azure DevOps, including:
    • Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment practices using Azure DevOps.
    • Creating Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates.
    • Setting up and executing build and release pipelines.
    • Administering Azure DevOps environments.
    • Utilizing Azure Boards for project management.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in PaaS implementations within Azure.
  • Experience with Web Apps, API Management, Logic Apps, Functions, and Service Bus for at least 2 years.
  • 5+ years of experience in delivering enterprise integration solutions, APIs, and service-oriented architectures.
  • 5+ years of in-depth development experience with C#/.NET.
  • 3+ years of PowerShell scripting experience (knowledge of JSON, XML, and other scripting languages is a plus).
  • 3+ years of experience with Visual Studio in a CI environment.
  • 3+ years of experience in object-oriented design and backend application development with RESTful APIs.
  • 2+ years of UI development experience in collaboration with UI/UX designers.
  • Strong understanding of Web Services (SOAP, REST), XML, JSON formats, HTTP protocols, and networking concepts.
  • Proven ability to orchestrate complex use cases involving multiple systems, with a focus on error handling and logging.
  • Exceptional troubleshooting skills to analyze and resolve intricate technical issues.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • 3+ years of experience working within Agile/Scrum teams.
  • Expertise in Azure scalability and availability, with hands-on experience in backup and restoration of Azure services.
