About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate individual to join our team as a Wheelchair Attendant and Baggage Handler. As a key member of our airport support team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe and efficient movement of passengers and their luggage.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist passengers with mobility challenges navigating through the airport, providing courteous and efficient service to ensure a comfortable and safe experience.
  • Handle and transport passenger luggage from check-in to aircraft loading and vice versa, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
  • Operate baggage handling equipment, including conveyor belts and trolleys, to efficiently sort and route baggage to the correct flight and carousel.
  • Work collaboratively with the team to maintain a positive and respectful working environment, adhering to safety protocols and procedures at all times.
Requirements
  • Minimum age of 18 years old
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to physically assist and transport passengers in wheelchairs
  • Ability to lift 70 pounds or more
  • Ability to work in a physically demanding outdoor environment
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate in the English language
  • Commitment to providing excellent customer service
  • Comfortable working with computers, mobile devices, and tablets
  • Ability to pass a drug screen
  • Eligibility to acquire needed credentials and clearings (FAA, TSA, Port Authority, U.S. Customs, and U.S. Postal as applicable)
