Licensed Practical Nurse

Jasper Memorial Hospital is seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team as a Treatment Nurse. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to a positive and supportive work environment.
Key Responsibilities- Assessment and Planning: Conduct thorough assessments of patients to identify their physical, emotional, and social needs, and develop individualized care plans to address these needs.
- Implementation and Evaluation: Implement care plans and evaluate their effectiveness, making adjustments as needed to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Medication Administration: Administer medications as ordered by physicians, and document medication administration in patient records.
- Communication: Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination and address any concerns or issues that may arise.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient care, including assessments, treatments, and outcomes.
- Teamwork: Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care and support to patients and their families.
- Education: Graduate of an accredited Licensed Practical Nurse program.
- Experience: At least 1 year of experience as a Licensed Practical Nurse in a healthcare setting.
- Certifications: Current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse in the state of practice.
- Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, and proficiency in electronic medical records systems.
